San Francisco: Tryst To Its All Art Forms

Like any other place San Francisco had a reason for its rapid growth and tremendous developments. The California Gold Rush proved to be breakthrough point that led to its prominence, even the devastating earthquake and fire could not diminish its glory. San Francisco still stands tall holding it’s past and present together. The true essence lies in the remarkable co-relation between the traditional and modern.
The several museums and performing arenas that still stand tall, speak volume of the Californian people’s love for art (in any form). To my utter surprise every museum has impressive body of work worth watching. I was truly amazed with the huge number of museums San Francisco has, anyone could make out that it is neither a day’s effort nor the work of an individual to restore this rich heritage.
It is the commendable efforts of non profit organizations government entities and private businesses who have spared no pains to care for the objects of painters, printmakers, wood carvers, lithographers, illustrators, sculptors, craftsmen and etchers and display them for public viewing.

If you are a true art lover then head to the public library first to get the first hand information about thousands of Californian artists and which museum holds his or her work. I have been to so many places but never ever found so much love and affection for the legacies and true patrons of music and art but San Francisco is an exception to this.
It still houses the historical performing art center, opera houses and theaters and is the proud owner of one of the largest performing art center of United States in the form of San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center that still holds mega events.
All these things have not only made me amazed but have brought more closer to this place that has so much to see and offer.
